When can Thermage be done after Sculptra?

About 4 months ago I completed a Sculptra series and loved the results. My dermatologist initially recommended Thermage followed by Sculptra but I could not afford both at the time and opted for Sculptra. I can now consider Thermage or a laser skin tightening series but am concerned about effects it may have on the Sculptra. Are you aware of any problems with Sculptra followed by skin tightening or laser treatment? Thank you. Rhonda.

There is no study that I know of on this.  But I do have considerable experience over the past five years with both products.   I have my patients wait until 6 months after the last Sculptra treatment before doing Thermage and have had no problems with Sculptra “bumps” occurring.   Ideally, when you do your yearly maintenance (usually one treatment), you would do your Thermage in the month prior because your fibroblasts (cells that make collagen) should be more active.  Theoretically, you should get more response from your Sculptra but there are no studies to prove this.   Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
