With IPLs, in how many treatments should I see a result?

I have recently had a series of 4 IPL treatments approx. 1 month apart on my lower arms to help sunspot damage. My last one was yesterday, so I am only seeing the results of a full 3 mo. -in which results have been disappointing. The institute told me that it can take up to 8+ treatments for some. So, of course they want me to buy another package. My question is- since I dont see any significant changes so far, should I give up or is it possible that without hardly any changes, it could happen after more treatments? So-after 4 treatments, if it is going to work, shouldn't you be able to tell something by now? Thanks so much

You all ask such good questions and I wish I could answer all of them! Generally, you should start to see results with IPLs after 2 treatments. You may want to consider finding a new office. Look for an office with a dermatologist who is permanently on site and read this information before you go on IPLs. They are not even remotely the same in terms of power, customization and results.

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
