I have recently had a series of 4 IPL treatments approx. 1 month apart on my lower arms to help sunspot damage. My last one was yesterday, so I am only seeing the results of a full 3 mo. -in which results have been disappointing.
The institute told me that it can take up to 8+ treatments for some.
So, of course they want me to buy another package. My question is-
since I dont see any significant changes so far, should I give up or is it possible that without hardly any changes, it could happen after more treatments? So-after 4 treatments, if it is going to work, shouldn't you be able to tell something by now?
Thanks so much
You all ask such good questions and I wish I could answer all of them! Generally, you should start to see results with IPLs after 2 treatments. You may want to consider finding a new office. Look for an office with a dermatologist who is permanently on site and read this information before you go on IPLs. They are not even remotely the same in terms of power, customization and results.
