Is it okay to have Restylane and Juvederm in your face at the same time?

Can you have Restylane on top of Juvederm? I had Juvederm into my cheeks to lift them a couple of months ago but it hasn't achieved the effect I hoped. I have found a practitioner who uses Restylane but is it ok to have that when it's so soon after Juvederm?

Yes.  These two products are compatible.   I often explain to patients that it’s like comparing a Gala apple to a Fuji apple – they are just slightly different but still apples.  These are both hyaluronic acid fillers with good track records of safety.  The key is finding a good dermatologist or other provider to inject it well in order to avoid any filler mistakes.  Dr. I
