Is Renova good for upper lip lines?

DR. Irwin, Is Renova the only and best form to use for lines or new vertical lines around the mouth..Been Using renova was just wondering what eles to add. Ty

The bad news on this one is that unless you are 30 years old and just have the faintest of lines on the upper lip, Renova (or any other cream for that matter) is not going to make a visible difference.   Renova is good to use there for other reasons though.  It may help with blotchiness and helps to prevent skin cancer.

 I really need your age to point you in the right direction.  But, if you are 30-40s, a little filler in those lines like Juvederm or Restylane.   Fractionated carbon dioxide laser or occasaional Fraxel Restore could be another way to go.  You will really need a good cosmetic  dermatologist to guide you well.  Please see our resources section for dermatologists in your part of the country.   Dr. I
