What I Don’t Like about Latisse!
We all know that Latisse works and is relatively safe (see my past Tip). BUT ……. why couldn’t Allergan get the delivery system right??? Jan Marini is a tiny company compared to Allergan, and they found a sweet little metal tube that looks like mascara and coupled it with a perfect little brush so that you didn’t waste it but got just enough.
Compared to that the Allergan packaging is a joke! It looks like they took the plastic bottle for the glaucoma product, reprinted it with Latisse on it and then somehow found the most awkward, awful plastic brush that holds way too much and is wasteful of the product and all those plastic brushes. Also the line it draws is too thick, again wasting the product.
I understand Allergan is worried about eye infection, thus the crazy plastic brushes. But I think Allergan can do better than that. I still use my tiny Jan Marini brush, put a tiny drop on the brush for each side and rinse and dry it well between each use. You could use a tiny, eyeliner brush from a department store cosmetic department. The product should last much longer than a month that way, too.
