Keeping Your Lips Safe in the Sun
Lips get wrinkled, shrink, and develop skin cancer – all aggravated or caused by sun exposure. Think of all the sunburns you’ve had on your lips!
Put your facial sunscreen on your lips every morning. And protect your lips daily with SPF lip sunscreen or gloss. Lipstick works pretty well too, if it’s opaque.
If you have spots on or around your lips that are pink, scaley, or just don’t go away after 4-8 weeks, you may have an early skin cancer. See your dermatologist.
