How likely are Sculptra bumps? Also consider Voluma.
I can understand your cautiousness on this, because the web tends to foster fear-based thinking, some justified and some not.
Sculptra bumps are extremely rare, if the doctor providing the Sculptra, reconstitutes (mixes) it correctly, injects it correctly and does the massage (including teaching you your part) correctly., Then….. it is a wonderful product that gives a very natural, balanced rejuvenation to your face. If one of those three parts doesn’t happen correctly, small bumps are possible, and occasionally, larger ones.
The hard part is figuring out which dermatologists or plastic surgeons, really have wonderful results with it. Some doctors (including myself) don’t publish photos (privacy reasons) but others do. Perhaps the best way is to ask about photos or see if there are patients you could speak to. Also, check the Sculptra website or see if you can speak to the regional product rep.
Consider Voluma though – just recently approved – it may do what you need without the risks of bumps that are hard to remove.
