What are the best anti-aging products for women over 50-60?
You’re welcome!! I think that excellent products at any age can make a difference when used consistently and coupled with sun avoidance, which allows your skin to activate it’s natural repair mechanisms. We have seen in our office, very wrinked, sun damaged 50-60 plus skin improve remarkably with a combination of good anti-aging products, some fillers, botox and lasers. You’re on the right track because good products are the starting point.
I guess I’m trying to say that I want you to be realistic also. Good skincare products can’t fix everything as we age. 🙂
To answer your question, I’ll refer you to my skincare regimen.
The Vitamin C serum is best put on cleansed skin under your other products, including your sunscreen every morning. Here are some good Serums to use.
What to look for in a serum.
Look for ones that contain L-ascorbic acid, have a pH of about 3.5 and are, if alone, about 15-20%. If combined with other antioxidants, a slightly lower percentage is fine.
Hope this helps, Dr. I
