Some inaccurate information on Sculptra??

Hi Dr. Irwin, I am very impressed with your high quality, evidence based dermatological advice. Therefore I was surprised to read the following in your blog: "Sculptra is the synthetic lactic acid that stimulates natural collagen production and in time results in added volume to areas of the face, like hollow areas beneath the eyes. Sculptra is FDA approved for HIV lipodystrophy with broader cosmetic approval pending in 2008-2009. The eye area is particular prone to Sculptra bumps. Experts only." I thought periocular sculptra injections were verboten....?

Dear reader –  Thanks for pointing this out!!  I thought I’d gotten rid of all the old language regarding Sculptra.   This was true back in 2008 but has changed since.   We will fix this!!  Dr. I
