Crepiness on the neck at 62?
I hear you and you are NOT alone. There’s a reason why the wonderful writer Nora Ephron (now passed ):) wrote a book called “I Hate My Neck.” It’s quite funny! More blog questions on necks.
Please stop wasting your money on these creams though. Sadly, there is no cream that can even remotely fix this and I’m hoping you can all stop falling victim to this misleading marketing. So ……please don’t bother with any Strivectin product. Do you remember when they promised results like Botox with it. Funny how they never make that claim any more.
If the problem is those vertical bands (platysmal bands) and they are not too bad, Botox/Dysport usually helps. Anoother realistic option is still surgery (a lower facelift usually).
And, if the problem is mild to moderate, nonsurgical options. The best nonsurgical options, in my opinion and at this time, are Exilis (four to eight treatments about 2 weeks apart) and/or fractionated CO2 (1-3 treatments) done by an expert only.
Hope this helps, Dr. I
