New Year’s Skin Resolutions (#2 of 3)
Many women feel that they don’t know where to start or how to prioritize aging issues. Here are some ways to get started.
Take a white sheet of paper (letter sized) and hold it first over your lower face so you can really focus on your upper face. What do you see? Then reverse it. Is your lower face aging faster, or your eye area and upper face? Many women have a discrepancy. Target the area aging faster first.
For the upper face consider those frown lines, crow’s feet, eyelid hooding or creepiness, or forehead lines. For the lower face consider the folds around the nose and mouth, upper lip wrinkles, or sagging skin along the jaw line. Then consider the over-all texture and color of your skin. Problems with brown spots, veins, acne scarring, wrinkles? Once you have targeted the areas that seem to be aging fastest, you can look at treatment options. I’ll have more info next week.
In the meantime, my article Guide to Cosmetic Areas describes treatment options for different areas of the face, like the forehead, the eyes, the mouth and lip area, etc. And you can look at a face to research treatment options in my Anti-Aging Tour.
