Sunscreen on the eyelids?

Hello Dr. Irwin: In your skin care routine for AM, (Fall/Winter), you use SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50. Do you put this on your eyelids? If not, what do you do for sunscreen on your eyelids? Thank you. (P.S. I love your web site thank you for doing it).

Thank you –  I love doing the website.  I just wish I had even more time to spend on it!  As for your question, I don’t put any of the regular sunscreens like the Physical Fusion on my eyelids just up to the bone (orbital bone)  because they are irritating and some can sting the eyes.   On days when I’m inside more (rainy Seattle), I don’t worry about it.  If I’m outside more than I use the Dermatologica Total Eye Care.  It’s hard to find a really gentle eyelid sunscreen.  Link here to the product.    Dr. I
