White bumps under the eyes - caused by Juvederm??

I had Juvaderm injections under my eyes in Jan. I noticed right away that I had some white bumps under my right eye. They were not as present under my left eye. I thought they would disappear over time however that has not happened. It has been 6 months and the bumps are still there and I am now noticing that more are appearing under my left eye as the Juvaderm goes away. I did return to my plastic surgeon and was told the bumps were not due to the Juvaderm. However, I did not have them prior to the Juvaderm. I have an appointment with a dermatologist in August and wonder if you think there is anything that can be done to make them go away?

You bring up a good point but first it’s good idea to see a good dermatologist who will be able to diagnose these correctly and tell you what your options are. What I’d like to say is that I’m guessing that you first noticed these after the filler but that they were likely there for a long time prior. We humans are visual creatures but in many ways, we don’t SEE things very well. We’ve all had the experience of someone else pointing out something to us on our faces that we really hadn’t noticed.

When we get a medical or aesthetic procedure done in an area, we suddenly notice things differently there. I think it’s very normal and natural that you suddenly noticed these little white bumps (many people have these including me :)) and I also agree with your doctor that the Juvederm didn’t cause them in all likelihood.
