Is a Tanda Luxe home use device work and worth the money?

Hello Dr Irwin, Thank you for such an informative site, I was wondering what your views on the Tanda Luxe hand held home device for preventing/treating wrinkles are? I'm thinking of buying one but as with all beauty products I don't want to waste time and money.

This really depends on how old you are and what shape your skin is in.   If you are 35 and have good skin and practice good skincare habits, then using this for a little extra prevention and maintenance at home might make sense.

If you are 55 and have real wrinkles and sun damage, this device will not benefit those problems very much.  It’s too underpowered and doesn’t go deep enough, in my opinion.    This device uses a red LED light to try to stimulate collagen, and vibrates a little while you massage it on your face.

Also, many people find it hard to consistently do something (for months or years) when there is no or little visible pay off.

Hope this helps,   Dr. I

SkinTour Skincare
One of the best investments in your skin is your daily skincare. Why? Because you can prevent many problems with blotchy skin color, lack of glow, texture, some types of acne, and fine lines with good skincare products. You can also correct some of these problems with effective skincare products. Great skincare is often more expensive because quality ingredients are expensive. Some companies spend on research/development which benefits all of us and adds to the cost. Are they worth it? In general - yes! I have handpicked some of what I consider to be the best skin care products, and offer them for sale on SkinTour's shop. This is based on my team and I's testing and research at our clinic. Many of the products are in my own regimen. What could be better than using skin care products a dermatologist uses?!
