Explaining Sculptra (#3 of 4)
How do you figure out which is right for you, Sculptra or Juvederm/Restylane?
Often if you are 35-50-ish and just have a few lines or creases around your mouth, 1-2 syringes of HA filler (Juverderm/Restylane) every 6-9 months will easier and more cost effective. If you are 50-ish to 80, generally there will be enough volume loss in the cheeks (think sagging) that treating the cheek area too will be necessary for good results and facial balance.
At the point where you need treatment for sagging in the cheeks, using Sculptra (other options are the thicker HAs or Radiesse) to re-volumize the cheeks will start to be more cost effective and look more natural than trying to fill the cheek area up with Juvederm/Restylane.
